Chapter 76 (Last Chapter)
I woke up after it felt like I had been asleep for 100 years. I fell out of bed as I heard a loud knock at the door. i got my dressing gown that was on the back of my door. I stumbled down the stairs and yelled “Alright I’m coming!!”
That’s weird. When I got down there, there wasn’t anyone down there. Strange. I looked at the floor in case it was just the post. It was a envelope addressed to me. I never get post, its always addressed to Max or Tom.
I picked it up while making myself a cup of tea. I opened it and when I got it out, I realised it was a letter. I would recognise the handwriting from anywhere. It was from Nathan but what did he want?
Dear Rebecca, I’m writing to you to tell you that I’m moving to Paris with James. This probably won’t affect you because of Max. I want to stay but I can’t see you both together it’s just too hard for me. I loved you the moment I met you. I fell for your caring personality, I don’t know what I will do without you but I just need to get away. I found it easier to write to you instead of actually saying it too you because it would be too difficult for me. I love you and always will. P.S we are leaving at 1pm today. Nathan xxx
Tears started to fell down my face. I knocked them away and noticed there was a picture at the end of the letter. It was me and Nath at high school, we were happy. High school days are defiantly the best days of your life. That’s where I met him.
I hurried upstairs and reached for my suitcase from the top of my wardrobe. I threw it on my bed and started to chuck my clothes in it. I had always wanted to live in France and now I can. I love Nathan but everything kept getting in the way so moving to to another country is the only thing we can do.
I sent Sarah a text as I realised I would probably never see her again. “I’m moving to France x”
She replied almost instantly. “What? Why? What’s happened? x”
“It’s Nath, he’s going there. I can’t live without him.”
“Wait a minute, forget about doing things for people for one second. What do you want? x”
“Him. But can I just tell you something. x”
“Yeah sure x”
“I’m going to name the baby Sarah :) x”
“Really? Aww that’s so sweet. Thank you :) x”
“You’re welcome :) x”
“So it”s a girl? x”
“Yeah but I’m having another boy too. x”
“What? Twins? Congratulations! :) x”
“Thank you. You sound like I have already had them :L hehe x”
“Sorry :L I just can’t believe you are naming the girl after me. x”
“Of course I would! :D x”
”Aww :) I will visit you when your in France! x”
I finished my packing at 12pm. 1 hour before Nathan said he was leaving. I ran down the stairs with my heavy suitcase. I left Max a note on the kitchen counter saying I was leaving in case he wondered where I was.
……
I arrived at the airport at 12:30pm. Hopefully he was still here. I went up to the people who sold tickets. “Excuse me.”
“Hello, how may I help you?” The woman asked happily
“Can I have 1 ticket to Paris.”
“We have 1 ticket left for Paris leaving at 1pm.”
“That’s fine thank you.” I paid and she handed me my ticket.
I looked around and saw a sign saying where the planes to France were. They were on my left. I carried my suitcase and rushed to find Nathan.
“Nathan?” I called. “Nathan. Where are you?”
Suddenly a small boy bumped in to me. I looked down and saw it was James. I picked him up and gave him a hug.
“Mummy.” He said happily.
I heard someone speak loudly. “James? Where have you gone. The plane leaves in a minute.” There he was. He looked surprised to see me. “Rebecca? What are you doing here?”
“I’m coming with you.” His mouth dropped open. I placed James gently on the floor. Nathan dropped his bags on the floor and ran up to me.
“I love you.” I said.
“I love you too. I didn’t think you would come.”
“I can’t live without you so I had too.” I smiled. “I have something to tell you.”
“Go on.” He grinned.
“We are having twins.” I cried.
“What?” He asked as he picked me up, gently kissing my lips. “It’s mine?”
“Yes.”
“We need to something to celebrate. I have an idea.” He placed me down and got down on one knee. I never thought he would do it.
“Nath, what are you doing?”
“Will you marry me?” He asked looking into my eyes.
“Yes.” I screamed.” He placed a gorgeous diamond ring on my finger.
We walked to the plane hold hands. It was perfect. I can’t wait to be Mrs Sykes.

Chapter 75
I knew I would have to tell Nathan eventually as it was killing me keeping it inside. So I might as well tell him now.
I got the bus to his house and stumbled up the steps as I was afaid of what he would say. I knocked the door a couple of times. It opened and there he was holding James. He definitely had his Daddy’s cute looks. He looks nothing like me.
“Hi Rebecca.” Nathan grinned.
“Hey, is this a bad time?” I asked.
“Oh no of course not, i’m just feeding James. Come in.” He replied.
I walked slowly into his living room. I almost fell over as I stood on one of James’s toys.
Nathan placed James on the floor and asked him to go and play with his toys.
He walked over to me as he was messing with his baseball cap.
“So what’s up?” He asked still grinning like a cheshire cat.
“Please don’t hate me.”
“Hun why would I hate you? I would rather if you told me the truth than lie to me.” He had a worried expression on his face.
“That’s why i’m going to tell you.”
“Is it something to do with the drugs?” he asked cautiously
“Oh no its nothing to do with that and i’m clear if you wanted to know.” I have been going to rehab and I felt much better for it.
“Ahh that’s good, i’m soo proud of you.” He smiled and pulled me in at the waist and gave me a hug.
“I had sex with Max.” I said as tears fell down my face. He pulled out of the hug. He looked pretty angry.
“What?” He asked.
“I slept with Max.”
“Yeah I know I heard you the first time.”
“I don’t know why you’re so pissed off. It only happened once.”
“But it still happened. How long ago was it?” He asked simply.
“Uh…”
“WHEN??!!!!” he yelled.
“About 2 months ago. I have something else to tell you.”
“If its not that your pregnant and he’s the father then I don’t really care.” I looked down at my stomach and rubbed it gently, I had started to get a small bump. I grabbed Nathan’s hand and made it touch my tummy.
“Nathan please don’t hurt me.”
“I’m not going to hurt you.” He kept staring at me, he looked really mad and I felt really guilty about what I had done. “I’m going to kill him!!!” He yelled and removed his hand from my stomach and ran to the front door.
“Nath please, what about James? You can’t leave him here on his own.” I asked. He turned back and looked at James then me.
He walked back over to me. “Look after him for me please.” He said after kissing my head gently. “Is there any chance that it might be mine?” He asked.
“Yeah, it might be yours but i’m not sure who’s it is.”
